Per session £22 - for two at the same appointment £35 (so book in a friend or relative )
How it works The primary active ingredient is a sugar derivative called DHA when sprayed on the top layers of your skin reacts with the amino acid, creating a colour change similar to a UV sun tan. A colour guide is applied to ensure an even tan, but when you rinse off this simply washes off and your tan will have developed underneath. As your skin sheds the tan fades naturally between 5-7 days after the application. The more you look after the tan following the aftercare advice, the longer it will last.
Before your spray tan - shower & exfoliate your body - Avoid heavy moisturising shower gels - Do not apply moisturisers, deodorants, oil-based products or perfume - wax/shave at least 24 hours before your tan (thoroughly wash off any moisturising shaving strip residue) - wear loose dark clothing and open shoes e.g flip flops - avoid silk, wool & leather garments as tan will not wash out of these materials
For the session - wear suitable swimwear or underwear to create the desired result or I can provide disposable. - preferably wear old/dark underwear as it will not wash out of elastic/lace - barrier cream is applied to hands, feet and any other dry areas - you will be dry to dress straight after - whilst developing do not touch the skin, you will end up with tanned fingers, or hands marks in your tan. - do not get wet, (washing pots, rain etc.) you will be left with water marks, so come prepared incase of rain
Aftercare - shower between 6-8 hours after the session (unless I've advised different) or you can sleep in it, we will have discussed the desired colour so it won't continue to darken - pat dry with towel do not rub - avoid heavy exercise or any perspiration during developing (a fan helps if its a warm day)
Ensure all tan is exfoliated off before your next session!
